Responsible for implementing and monitoring testing activities throughout the life cycle of assigned software development or custom modification projects. Testing activities include test planning, review of schedule estimates for testing, coordination of testing activities, providing input on project issues that would affect test estimates or scope. Coordination with Project Manager(s) for all testing activities conducted throughout the project. Development of test cases whether automated or manual and monitoring of the integrated system test effort.
Responsible for implementing Quality Assurance activities throughout the life cycle of assigned projects. Quality Assurance activities include creation, review and approval of various QA planning documents and enhancements for process improvement. Monthly process tracking of assigned projects to ensure compliance with QA standards and practices. Monitoring and follow up of process issues raised as a result of non-compliances.
Other duties such as performing project certification, metrics collection, lessons learned and milestone reviews. Education and Typical Years Experience Minimum 2 plus years experience conducting software testing activities including 2 years experience working on large, functionally complex systems. Experience includes planning, coordinating and conducting testing activities. Use of automated test tools performing regression and performance testing on multiple projects is preferred.
